Sustainable Livelihoods in South Sudan

At Diko Creative Initiatives (DCI), we are committed to advancing sustainable livelihoods in South Sudan by empowering women and youth with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve economic independence. Through our integrated programs, we promote climate-smart agriculture, provide vocational skills training, and support Village Savings & Loan Associations (VSLAs) to help communities build resilient income sources. Our approach focuses on equipping vulnerable populations—especially those affected by conflict and displacement—with practical tools to improve food security, generate income, and create lasting change.

As one of the organizations driving economic empowerment in South Sudan, DCI works closely with local communities to strengthen livelihoods and reduce poverty. Our initiatives support small business development, enhance agricultural productivity, and improve access to financial services for underserved groups. By investing in youth empowerment, women-led enterprises, and sustainable farming practices, we help communities transition from dependency to self-reliance. Through these efforts, DCI continues to play a vital role in promoting long-term development, resilience, and inclusive economic growth in South Sudan.
