Safe Women & Girls Network
The Safe Women & Girls Network by Diko Creative Initiatives (DCI) is a comprehensive protection project designed to address gender-based violence (GBV) in South Sudan. Operating across Yei, Morobo, and nationwide locations, this initiative provides safe spaces, psychosocial support, and protection services for women, girls, and vulnerable children affected by conflict, displacement, and social inequality.
Gender-based violence remains a critical challenge in South Sudan, particularly in conflict-affected and displacement settings. This project strengthens community-based protection systems by offering survivor-centered services, including case management, counseling, and referral pathways. The Safe Women & Girls Network aligns with DCIβs protection mandate to prevent violence, support survivors, and promote human rights, dignity, and gender equality across communities.
