Water for Life – National Rollout
The Water for Life – National Rollout project by Diko Creative Initiatives (DCI) is a large-scale initiative aimed at improving access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in South Sudan. Implemented across Jonglei, Upper Nile, and Lakes States, this ongoing project focuses on providing safe and sustainable water solutions to communities affected by conflict, displacement, and limited infrastructure.
Access to clean water remains a major challenge in South Sudan, with millions of people lacking reliable and safe water sources. The Water for Life project addresses this gap through borehole drilling and rehabilitation, hygiene promotion, and sanitation infrastructure development. By combining immediate access to water with long-term sustainability measures, DCI ensures that communities benefit from improved health, dignity, and resilience. This initiative directly aligns with DCI’s WASH strategy to reduce waterborne diseases and improve community well-being.
