Back to School Program

The Back to School Expansion – Phase II project by Diko Creative Initiatives (DCI) is a transformative education program designed to restore access to quality education in South Sudan for children affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty. Implemented across Juba, Magwi, and Greater Equatoria, this ongoing initiative focuses on reintegrating out-of-school children, especially girls and internally displaced children (IDPs), into safe and inclusive learning environments.

In South Sudan, thousands of children remain out of school due to insecurity, economic hardship, and lack of access to educational infrastructure. Building on the success of Phase I, this project expands DCI’s efforts to provide temporary learning spaces, scholastic materials, and trained teachers to underserved communities. The program aligns with DCI’s mission to promote inclusive, equitable, and quality education, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
