Child Protection & GBV Response

At Diko Creative Initiatives (DCI), we are dedicated to strengthening child protection and gender-based violence (GBV) response in South Sudan, supporting vulnerable women, girls, and children affected by conflict, displacement, and social inequality. Through our comprehensive programs, we establish safe spaces for women and girls, provide psychosocial support and trauma healing, and deliver case management services to survivors of abuse and violence. Our work ensures that individuals at risk receive the protection, care, and dignity they deserve in some of the most fragile communities.

As one of the leading organizations addressing GBV prevention and child protection in South Sudan, DCI also implements community awareness campaigns, strengthens local protection systems, and promotes gender equality at all levels. By working closely with communities, local leaders, and partners, we help prevent violence, support survivors, and build safer environments for children and families. Our interventions not only respond to immediate protection needs but also contribute to long-term resilience, making DCI a trusted partner in advancing human rights, safeguarding, and protection services in South Sudan.

“After surviving violence, DCI gave me counseling and helped me start a small business. Now I support my children alone and even train other survivors. I am strong again.”
